On Saturday, November 5, from 11am to 4pm, the Academy’s Margaret Herrick Library partnered with online art magazine East of Borneo to host its 2nd annual Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.
The event was a casual gathering for both newbies and experienced Wikipedia editors to improve Wikipedia entries about film.
The event took place in the library reading room and participants had access to select library resources.
Participants were encouraged to work on entries about underrepresented figures in film, but could select any topic they like.
