AFA Collection - Gregory Peck Collection

Actor, producer, and former president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Gregory Peck donated his collection to the Academy Film Archive in 1999. The collection contains home movies and dozens of Peck’s 16mm and 35mm personal prints of titles including “Duel in the Sun” (1946), “Cape Fear” (1962), and “Spellbound” (1945) as well as his Academy Award-winning performance in “To Kill a Mockingbird” (1962). Noting his role as a film producer, the Gregory Peck Collection also includes production and promotional material from “The Big Country” (1958).

The film material at the Academy Film Archive is complemented by material in the Gregory Peck papers at the Academy’s Margaret Herrick Library.
