Robert Dawson is a professional title designer whose career began in the early 1980s and continued to his retirement in 2010. As a freelance designer, Dawson worked for a variety of directors and studios, both mainstream and independent, creating titles for theatrical features, made-for-television movies, and miniseries. His collection of over 200 items consists mostly of 35mm prints of title sequences he created, including some alternate versions, demo reels, and trailers. The Archive received the collection in 2012.
