Mark Osborne is a critically acclaimed American animator and director most known for his stop-motion animated film “More” (1999), which received an Academy Award® nomination for Best Animated Short and is included in the collection. Other notable live action sequences he directed include “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie” (2004), “The Little Prince” (2015), and “Bob's Burgers: The Movie” (2021). Osborne also received an Academy Award® nomination for “Kung Fu Panda” (2008) for Best Animated Feature. The Archive’s collection includes "Dropping Out" (2000), "Greener" (1994), and "Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Jurassic Park” (1993). Since 2009 the Archive has housed 70 items related to Mark Osborne including elements on deposit through his estate.
