The Frank Capra Productions Collection contains an assortment of film, video, and audio elements mostly pertaining to the post-war film career of Frank Capra, as well as some personal holdings. Frank Capra was a three-time Academy Award® winning director and served as President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 1935-1939. The collection first arrived at the Archive in 2015 from the Frank Capra Family vault, originally located in Hollywood, California, and is comprised of over 400 items.
