The collection of Academy Award-winning director Sydney Pollack is comprised of over 80 items and has resided at the Academy Film Archive since 1995. The acquisition consists of prints from his personal collection of the films he directed and produced (including 1985 Best Picture winner “Out of Africa”), several reels of screen tests, and numerous film and video compilation reels used for lectures and tributes.
