This joint collection from filmmakers Joe Dante and Jon Davison represents over 500 items, including feature films, pre-production elements, and an impressive number of theatrical trailer reels. The collection has resided at the Academy Film Archive since the late 1990s, and continues to expand. In addition to the canon of films made by Dante and Davison –”Gremlins” (1984), “Rock ‘N’ Roll High School” (1979), “Starship Troopers” (1997), “Airplane!” (1980), etc. – the collection encompasses a variety of titles and genres, such as “Edward Scissorhands” (1990), “Deliverance” (1972), and the storied 1932 version of “Alice in Wonderland.”
