AFA Collection - Fred MacMurray-June Haver Collection

Fred MacMurray was one of Hollywood’s top leading men from the 1930s to the 1950s, appearing most often in light comedies, but also featured in heavier fare such as “Double Indemnity” (1944) and “The Caine Mutiny” (1954). This collection of films featuring MacMurray and wife, actress June Haver, is a 2006 donation to the Academy by the Fred and June MacMurray Trust. Totaling around 90 items, the holdings include 16mm and Super-8 home movies of the MacMurray Family, 16mm prints of MacMurray’s feature films, as well as assorted shorts and commercials starring MacMurray and/or Haver.

The film material at the Academy Film Archive is complemented by material in the Fred MacMurray and June Haver papers at the Academy’s Margaret Herrick Library.
