Media Credentials

Applications for Oscars Setup Credentials are now available.  Please log in to the Academy Press List to access the application.  Applications must be completed by 6 p.m. PT on Thursday, February 21.  The Academy will not accept late applications.

Oscars Setup credentials provide legitimate press representatives with access to specific exterior locations from Monday, February 18, 2013, at 9 a.m. PT to Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. PT.  Oscars Setup credentials do not provide access to Red Carpet arrivals.  Oscars Setup credentials will be made available only to media outlets wishing to report about the Academy Awards; they will not be provided to anyone seeking to photograph, audiotape, or videotape material for any other purpose.
