Beverly Hills, CA (February 9, 2010) — For the 16th consecutive year, master chef Wolfgang Puck has been selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to create the menu for the Governors Ball, the celebration immediately following the 82nd Academy Awards® presentation on Sunday, March 7, 2010.

Beverly Hills, CA (February 9, 2010) — Jeffrey Kurland, an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences governor representing the Art Directors Branch, will chair the Governors Ball, the celebration that will follow the 82nd Academy Awards® on Sunday, March 7, 2010. This will be his first year as the chair of the event.

Beverly Hills, CA (February 9, 2010) — For the first time, Academy Award® winners will be able to have their Oscar statuettes personalized with engraved nameplates on Oscar Night® at the Governors Ball, the official celebration immediately following the 82nd Academy Awards® on Sunday, March 7, 2010, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today.
