Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting
The Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting is the world’s most esteemed screenwriting competition. Each year up to five $30,000 fellowships are awarded to authors who have previously earned less than $5,000 writing for film or television.

History of the Nicholl Fellowships
Gee Nicholl founded the Nicholl Fellowships in honor of her late husband Don Nicholl, a British screenwriter. The first Nicholl Fellowships were awarded in 1986.

The 2010 competition is now open. Only screenplays in PDF format uploaded via online account will be accepted. There is now an early bird deadline of April 1.
