Oscar-winning producer Bruce Cohen (right) and acclaimed television producer/director Don Mischer (left) will produce the 83rd Academy Awards telecast. Mischer will also serve as the telecast’s director.
The honorees for the upcoming 2010 Governors Awards will be selected by the Academy’s Board of Governors at a specially convened meeting on August 24. The awards presentation event will take place November 13, 2010.
Nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards will be announced on January 25, 2011 at 5:30 a.m. PT. The Academy Awards ceremony will be held on February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
