OSCAR’S DOCS, 1955–2002: AMERICAN STORIES

This year "Oscar's Docs," the annual collaboration between the Academy and MoMA's Department of Film, highlighted documentary films exploring the history, culture and politics of the united States. These Oscar nominees and winners, shorts and feature-length films show the many, complicated sides of this country – ugly, funny, terrifying, inspiring. All prints are from the Academy Film Archive's collection. The filmmakers were present at several screenings. Please visit MoMA.org for more information.
