Academy President Sid Ganis narrates a recap of the three-month celebration, “An Academy Salute to Akira Kurosawa,” which featured an exhibition in the Academy’s Grand Lobby and Fourth Floor Galleries entitled “Akira Kurosawa: Film Artist,” as well as a five-title retrospective screening series, including the premiere of a new digitally restored print of 1950s masterpiece “Rashomon” by the Academy Film Archive.
