Entry Deadline Is November 1 for Animated Feature Oscar® Category

Beverly Hills, CA - Monday, November 1, is the deadline for makers of eligible animated feature films to submit their entry forms and supporting materials to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for 77th Academy Awards® consideration.

Filmmakers must submit an entry form that includes the name of the intended award recipient and the signatures of all credited producers, executive producers and directors. Required supporting documentation includes a synopsis of the film, cast and credits list and scene stills. The deadline for submitting film prints is Thursday, November 18.

The 77th Academy Award nominations will be announced at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 .

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland®. The Oscars® will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST , beginning with a half-hour arrival segment.
