Beverly Hills, CA - 76th Academy Awards telecast producer Joe Roth has brought back Danette Herman as executive in charge of talent. This will be the 30th year Herman has been associated with the annual show, serving for 18 of them in her current capacity.

"I look forward to working with Danette to bring the world's biggest stars to the most celebrated and star-studded Academy Awards telecast in recent history," said Roth.

Herman specializes in live television, galas and special events. She recently served as coordinating producer for "CBS at 75," the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the CBS Network and the "55th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards." Most recently, Danette served as coordinating producer for "The Kennedy Center Honors," completing her 26th association with them.

Other credits include the Tony Awards telecasts, four Presidential Inaugural Galas, "An American Celebration at Ford's Theatre" and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta. She has worked on over 200 television events.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on Sunday, February 29, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood& Highland^® and televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST, beginning with a half-hour arrival segment.
