Beverly Hills, CA - Makers of documentary films eligible for the 74th Academy Awards^® have until Monday (10/1) to get their entry forms and supporting materials to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Documentary Branch Governor Freida Lee Mock said that in addition to the entry form, supporting documentation must include a synopsis of the film, a credits list and VHS cassette copies of each entry. The deadline for receiving the film print and proof of qualifying exhibition is October 31.

Academy Award^® nominations will be announced on February 12, 2002, and Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001 will be presented on March 24, 2002.
