Beverly Hills - Ethan Hawke has been set to present at the 72nd Academy Awards^® Presentation, producers Richard D. and Lili Fini Zanuck announced today.

Hawke, who appeared in last year's "Snow Falling on Cedars," will soon be seen in the film version of "Hamlet." His other screen credits include "Joe the King," "The Newton Boys," "Great Expectations," "Gattaca" and "Dead Poets Society."

The 72nd Academy Awards Presentation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2000, at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium. Sunday at the Oscars will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:00 p.m. (PST) with a half-hour arrivals segment preceding the awards ceremony.
