Screening Regulations
Unless otherwise noted, admission is by Academy membership card, which must be presented by the member, who may be accompanied by one guest. Non-members under 13 years of age will not be admitted to any screenings except when the screening is publicized as open to members and their families.
Important Note: Membership cards contain a bar code, which will be scanned for admission to all screenings at Academy venues in Los Angeles (Samuel Goldwyn Theater and Linwood Dunn Theater).
Academy members are reminded that they are personally responsible for the presence and behavior of their guests at screenings. We ask that members refrain from allowing persons unknown to them, or only vaguely known to them, to accompany them into screenings.
Tickets for Public Events
For the Academy’s public events in Los Angeles, a dedicated allotment of tickets will be available to members for as long as it lasts. If an event is announced as "sold out," members are encouraged to call the Academy Box Office (310-247-3000, ext. 1141) to inquire about the availability of member tickets.
