In cooperation with the National Geographic All Roads Film Project, the Academy presents a rare opportunity to see – in one location, one week before the Academy Awards ceremony – the five films nominated for the 2007 Foreign Language Film Oscar®.  After nominations are announced on January 22, the National Geographic All Roads Web site, www.nglive.org, will publish the detailed screening schedule.  The information will also be available at the National Geographic Society ticket office, (202) 857-7700.

Past nominees and winners have included the critically acclaimed films Tsotsi, Pan’s Labyrinth, The Sea Inside, The Lives of Others and All about My Mother.  Each screening will be preceded by an informal reception where global-minded enthusiasts can meet, mingle, whet their appetite for foreign films and pick their favorites for the 80th Academy Awards.
