Expected guests include actor Gary Busey, director Richard Donner, production designer J. Michael Riva and Oscar-nominees for the film's sound Les Fresholtz and Vern Poore.

Plot Outline : Mel Gibson and Danny Glover portray two L.A. cops who are forced to team up to unravel a suicide that is actually a murder - and the secrets don’t end there. 110 mins.

Lethal Weapon is one of eight films in the Academy’s Science and Technology Council's Sound! Camera! Action! series, which highlights sound achievement in a selection of influential and immensely popular films from the past four decades.

 
   
 

Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for Academy members and students with a valid ID. Tickets for this event will be available beginning April 2, at the Academy during regular business hours, by mail (HTML or PDF format), or on the night of the screening, if still available. Please note, we do not take phone reservations or any credit cards. If ordering by mail, please remember to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with your personal check made out to ACADEMY FOUNDATION.
