Drawing on the Future: Mentorship in Animation
May 9 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater Animators James Baxter, Andreas Deja, Pete Docter and Eric Goldberg will spotlight the mentors who fostered their professional development, presenting clips from the masters’ work as well as their own work.
This exhibition highlights the work of artists who created the characters, storyboards, color keys, backgrounds, layouts, cels and thousands of other process artworks that went into such animated classics as Dalmations, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Iron Giant.
