During our Careers In Film Summit: New York and students learned about jobs in the motion picture industry from working Academy members and film professionals. Topics included pre-production, production and post-production, and the various skills used throughout the moviemaking process.

In a series of panels, Academy members and filmmakers discussed their professions, share advice and address the skills that a career in film requires. Their areas of expertise span acting, writing, directing, producing, cinematography, sound design, editing, visual effects and production design. Sessions also incorporate film clips and Q&As with students.
