Academy Hollywood
The nearly 7.5 acre Academy Hollywood campus is home to an open-air theater for the Academy's "Oscars Outdoors" series. The outdoor space features an expansive lawn, a permanent 40x20 foot screen, and an adjacent 10,000-square foot plaza. In addition to hosting the "Oscars Outdoors" screening series, the venue serves the Academy and the community as an event space for special screenings, educational programs and other functions.
Theater Policies
- Lawn seating
- Be sure to dress warmly, and bring a blanket or low lawn chair.
- Picnic baskets, beer and wine are permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted.
- No pets (service dogs are allowed).
- Food trucks on site.
- Screenings begin at sunset. There will be no seating after the feature is on screen.
