The Academy's "Out of Character" to Benefit Charities

The Academy and the 84th Academy Awards Acting winners and nominees featured in the exhibition "Out of Character," portraits by Douglas Kirkland, join together to benefit 20 international charities. The Academy will donate one limited edition of three prints to a charity chosen by each nominee. A second print will become part of the Academy's Margaret Herrick Library photograph collection, and an additional print will also be presented to the winner/nominee.
