The Academy Celebrates the Black Movie Soundtrack

Grammy-winning musician and composer Marcus Miller teams up with producer-director Reginald Hudlin (an Oscar nominee as a producer of Django Unchained) for a soulful celebration of music and movies, with live musical performances and film clips shown on the Bowl’s big screen. Highlighting a range of movies from Stormy Weather and Super Fly to Purple Rain and Waiting to Exhale, the unforgettable evening will be hosted by comedian Craig Robinson and feature a stellar array of special guest performances by Bilal, Anthony Hamilton, Princess (Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum), and Public Enemy.
