White Christmas

In Celebration of Danny Kaye’s Centennial

With special guest, daughter Dena Kaye

Featured Real Fake Hollywood Snow!

A holiday favorite from 1954 got the Gold Standard treatment at Oscars Outdoors in honor of Danny Kaye’s centennial year.

Bing Crosby sings his trademark song, Kaye adds his comedy stylings, and Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen co-star as their singing-and-dancing love interests in this gloriously colorful, widescreen entertainment featuring songs by Irving Berlin.

Even though it’s Southern California, you needed to dress warmly, as our Hollywood special effects wizards predicted a 100% chance of snow for a dramatic conclusion to this seasonal classic.

Hot chocolate and holiday taste treats were available from some of Los Angeles’s best food trucks.
