Foreign Language Film Award Nominees Symposium

The Academy’s Foreign Language Film Award Nominees Symposium brought together the directors of the motion pictures nominated in the Foreign Language Film category to discuss their work and address such wide-ranging topics as art, politics and the challenges of their profession. This two-hour event also featured brief clips from each of the nominated films.
The 2009 Foreign Language Film Award nominees are:
