Thirteen students from eight U.S. colleges and universities have been named winners in the 36th Annual Student Academy Awards competition. They participated in a week of industry-related activities and social events, culminating in the awards ceremony on June 13 at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Spike Lee
Spike Lee was a Student Academy Award winner in 1983. Since then he has received Oscar nominations for the original screenplay for “Do the Right Thing” and for the documentary feature “4 Little Girls.”
