In Memoriam Correction
The distinguished Japanese director Kon Ichikawa was among those featured in the “In Memoriam” section of the 81st Academy Awards on February 22. Unfortunately, an incorrect photograph was used to identify Mr. Ichikawa. The Academy apologizes to Mr. Ichikawa’s family and friends for the mistake. A correct photograph is shown here.
