Overall Concept
This year’s Governors Ball is technically innovative using the power of light as the prominent décor element. Guests will enter a sleek palette and slowly travel through the various colors of the rainbow using color faders and dimmers. The ballroom’s physical space will be a secondary element to the addition of light, water and ice. A dynamic ceiling treatment using a reflective surface will adorn overhead while guests enjoy the romance that light brings to the event.
Layout
The layout consists of a combination of rectangular tables and banquette seating. The tiers will be cantilevered over the side walls which will house light faders.
Ceiling
A magnificent ceiling treatment will act as a reflective surface that will support the color faders.

Wall Treatment
Uplit columns and a water wall on the east end will create movement and glow.
Table
The tablecloths will have rich, warm textures adorned with a combination of water wall centerpieces and floral centerpieces.
Exterior
The exterior resembles the likes of an exquisite Japanese garden. Illuminated seating vignettes enhance the zen ambience. Ice bars will be a great added touch of drama and a terrific chilled martini. All bars will be backed by illuminated wall panels.
Entertainment
The stage is raised to balcony level on the south side of the ballroom highlighting featured performances. A reflective dance floor sits below for guests to dance the night away.
