United Airlines Flight #109 from Chicago arrived in Los Angeles February 19, carrying a cargo of 50 Oscar® statuettes for the 76th Academy Awards, fresh from their public exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.

Academy President Frank Pierson and Burton Morris, who designed this year's Oscar poster, were on hand to distribute the official posters to deplaning passengers.
